this suck... i've lost 3 eBay auctions in a row.... I NEED MIXMASTER!!! Grrrr... well.... or maybe some alternatives.... but it's itching to continue this project
UPDATE14: Strengthened the main body connectors (g*ddamn, every MixMaster gets hijacked... maybe I'll use a Marjorette.. found 9 of the same type for 40euro's or 6,5 for 1piece complete plastic except the cab, but I guess it's better than nothing and waiting)
Help needed: I've bought TAMIYA spray can's HellGreen/(some cool purple)/FlatBLack but since I'm still waiting for a mixmaster sollution, I want the finish the combiner parts, such as lower arms pieces + hand + waist etc. I have een gray TAMIYA basecoat/primer.. but let's say there's a couple of weeks between this paint and mixmasters.... would I be having trouble using the spraycans of that time period? (which time period max. and best spraycan saving tips are welcome!)

Damnz lost 13 auctions already... those mixmaster are expensive I'll be forced to use my own collectible though ... just for the wheels/cab/drum jeezz
UPDATE15: Finally got the nerves of grabbing my MISB ROTF Mixmaster.. and smashed it to pieces ... just 30min work so far (since all the Mixmasters on eBay lately are going well over 20-30 without shipping) I do need help since I only want to use REVELL SM (seiden matt) Colors... And I think with these 4colors and can make a limegreen'ish and pruple'ish mix right??
question is why do you only want to use Revell paints? i have tried them in the past and hated them. or are they the only paints you can get locally?
Well... ehm locally yes... but if my RID Ultra Magnus goes haywire, then I'll go and safe some money for testors or something
UPDATE17: (first post updated) Eventhough Mixmaster needs some tweaking and gonna start painting the other leg (forgot his name) I mixed some Seiden Matt (semi flat) Revell paints to get these results, I didn't have more paint to get the purple closer to G1 but I guess it's good enough for me

Well it's the flash that make it look pearly... and was just lucky by guessing the right amounts to get this far For the Green: {360[6units]/312[4units]/310[1unit]} I mixed REVELL 360 (green) + 310 (dragstrip'ish yellow)+ 312 (glow'ish/neon'ish yellow) in 6parts 1part 3to4parts For the purple: {350[2units]/331[5units]/301[1unit]} Then mixed REVELL 331 (rod/purple'ish) + 350 (dark blue) + 301 (white), in 5parts parts2 1part If you wait until tomorrow I could also test paint the Chestshield! (and I'm gonna do Cyb.Landmine for a green test run )
UPDATE18: Disaster struck after the first coat of green... My GF tried to help me but forgot the paint-jar was next to me and flipped it over
