I triggered my own curiosity and screwed around with Soundwave. This pretty much works, the speakers just fan out like surround sound. I guess he's a triple changer then. Can't believe I put speakers in his shins and it never occurred to me to try this. Also looks okay upside down since the speakers are upside down. I might just cut them out and flip them, cut off the plastic that obstructs them and keeps the doors closed.
Very nice way to take out the parts you hate and replace with parts you like. I totally understand about the white background. I tried it, I didn't like how my pics turned out.
thanks for showing what the head looks like on that body, it'll work perfectly for the Stalker custom I'm thinking of doing.

Man that's really nice looking. The 3rd mode works too. Do you plan to make the white parts blue too and have him even more Soundwavy?
Does this count as a lamp mode? I'm not motivated to make it work. I also modded the knee so he can now have an Armored Core mode. I'm not going to paint him unless I decide to sell him. He's going into well deserved retirement. Here's what he'll look like if I ever need the money, to sate your curiosity.
Aw man! Do him up in blue like that and this may be my official favorite cybertron Soundwave custom EVER! As is, he's still pretty friggin' sweet! Great use of both molds!
