It's possible. I actually recommend getting a G1 Grimlock gun, as it sort of resembles G2 Laser Prime's.

Small teaser. Modeling is done, but I'm reworking how it attaches to him arm. I'm thinking about two version: one that's surface mounted like SG Megatron's, and one that replaces the winch and fits more like a gauntlet.



Ah. I have to admit, I never liked that cannon, even on the original figure.

Nope. I was unhappy with the last progress print and I'm doing a bit of redesign.
