Ok so like a million people have done this custom, but I have friends that want to make one too. And parts are a bitch to find. So I'm trying to make molds of some of the parts. Here are some of my trails.

On the chest shield the black painted one is the original and of course the purple one is from a mold after I sanded and filled air bubbles in.

And the truck is the biggest pain, still trying to figure out how to tackle this one.

    I added some more pics.

So far from what I can see, the casted parts look ok. What is the problem you are having with the truck parts? Also I am curious to know, will you be making casts for the Drum Barrel of the cement truck?

I haven't thought of price yet, and how much would shipping be to where you live?

just wondering if anybody had some tips, its my first attempt at making molds and casts. And I do plan on making the Drum Barrel mold also.

agree with all the above :D
well if your in Europe it will be no more than 10pounds or 15euro's

but further than that it could get costly, but hey if we could make a good deal for all 3parts who cares :p

    your work is absolutely stunning!!!

20$ sounds about right, slightly cheaper is never bad though :)  I would need to see it on a Dev though, or at least next to some of the typical Ptvite's chest parts for a comparison. I worry the bottom may be a little too thin to cover up the middle opening area.

when making the mold yourself there is a lot flash that needs to be removed and sanding to be done. So I didn't think $15 was too bad I would have to try cutting shipping cost.

I'll have some pics up later today, I'm going for the same look as the original G1 style. I think a lot of people make it too small.
