A straight repaint of HFTD Battle Blade BumbleBee. He is prep, primed with auto grade primer, then I went on him with orange pearl which I think it's a little bit too orange rather than yellow but it gives the feel of bumblebee in an evening desert. I detailed him with acrylic laquer paint and some enamel wash/panel lining. Then gloss clear coat with high quality laquer paint. Awesome! I love that you went a little out of the box with this one with the paint color of the auto parts. It doesn't look all that out of place, as you said, it looks like he's in a desert and the sun is making his paint darker is all. I like it .
