You need to drybrush some silver, even if it's only a teeny bit onto that thing to bring the details out and be more accurate, but holy crap, I still shit bricks. Extra bricks were shat as it's your first custom.
Never thought I'd see a custom of this so soon! Great going. I always thought a Geno Saurer or other Zoid parts would suit this perfectly.
Really really nice custom dude. The bot-mode is spot-on! It is rather black, though... perhaps some drybrushing or weathering would make the sculpted details 'pop' a bit more? Personally I think a gunmetal dry brush would be perfect but that kinda thing is all subjective really. What's your next project gonna be?
WOW! I've never gotten so many great replies so fast. U all sure know how to welcome someone lol. I may add some weathering effects later, I'm just happy to have it finished lol. And as far as next project goes, only time will tell lol.
S....O.....B.....that's freakin' amazing. whenever i come to this forum(radicons) i die a little inside, 'cause i wish i had talent to do these type of things. heck, i freak out when i have to take a fig apart to do something. i just give up. i'm gonna start buying all the recommended tools in the sticky and then maybe i'll "man up". Congrats again on a fine custom.
Jealousy abound! THIS THING ROCKS! It's hard to imagine that you started with a lame toy, and ended up with an entirely different and awesome one! Great job!
I never get tired of seeing impressive works like this, really impressive that you have transformed that crap Megs (Yeah, I hate this mold) into this fantastic custom. I love WFC Trypticon, he's sucha a badass and you brough him to life with your project. That's just perfect! Nuff said!
