Just started watching Masterforce for the first time ever, and although it's cheesy as hell, I love it! I decided to try my hand at a non-headmaster minerva figure and thought drift with some mods and a bit of mistransformation would be a good base figure.

I ground off his sword connectors for under the car and modded the doors a bit to allow them to fold up the back instead of hanging down the hips. I also had to modify the shoulders so the doors wouldn't be in the way in robot mode, which lets the arms still have movement. The original Minerva looked kind of manly in the face to me, so I decided to keep it somewhat the same for this. I trimmed off Drift's "ears" and modified the gun from 2 star wars Leesub Sirln (whoever that is) toys for the antennae.

I have decals printed out for the doors and hood and plan on painting the red stripe around the base of the car, and the head/face in the original orange/red scheme. I also added the police lights off of a classics prowl, which almost sorta looks like a bow on top in car mode lol.

I still need to smooth out her chin and paint, other than that the mods are done. Also, sorry for the crappy pics, can't find my camera so I had to use my Droid. Criticism and opinions welcomed.

Clever idea. With the same colors as Minerva I could definitely see this working. I think the shoulder transformation is whats doing it. However, I'm not feeling the masculinity of the face. Maybe there's a female action figure whose head you can use? Maybe just toss her face onto a ground-down Drift face? That might work.

after thinking about what you said with the face, i cut out the original and it really looks like a helmet now. I found a female face that fit in perfect, just waiting on the putty to dry so i can sand it smooth around the edges. it looks a TON better now.
