When I first saw this mold it just screamed to me, ZZ Top. So I decided to make a custom ZZ Top car and I named him Eliminator. He was a straight up repaint. I cleaned him and then primed the figure in white. I then air brushed Racer Red over that. His Exhaust, bumpers and grill were done in chrome. Unfortunately the chrome dulled as soon as it was clear coated. So here he is. I hope you like him. C&C welcome.

Yeah, that mold totally said ZZ Top to me too! You should make a detachable beard for him, lol!

I was waiting for someone to do this, nice job. You should make a hat and a fuzzy guitar for him.

Yup... this repaint was inevitable. Thought about doing it myself, but my plate is already full of other stuff.

    Nice job!

    I have a general question...
When you (or everyone else) re-paints this figure, are you finding a way to take the gray/chrome stuff (front grille and pipes) off or are you just masking them off and re-painting them by hand?

I want to re-paint my Hubcap, but I'm stuck here.

Your ZZ Top whip looks SWEEEET!

Nice! I thought the same thing when I saw that guy! Originally I was thinking a foldable-cloth beard would be good, but when Kryptokron suggested a detachable beard I thought of an idea that you might try: detachable beard that converts to a weapon! I'd like to see that!

I thought about that but I'm not Sure ho'd I go about it.

I'm working on the quitar and I might make a hat.

That song was stuck in my head every time I was working on him. LOL:)
    Thanks
I usually try to take it apart or mask it area off. Unfortunately The from grill section in held on with a peg that I was unable to get off. I may still rechrome him. Thanks for the kind words.

That's a good idea I will try and keep that in mind. Not sure how to pull it off though.
    Thank you very much.:)
