Dug this guy out of my junk drawer a couple days ago (it's the only place I can store him). I think I'm going to buy one of those damn Anakin podracers. The price on those is unusually high considering what a crap toy it is. I'm beginning to question whether the parts are going to make a decent trailer, they're so horribly irregular. It would basically have to be a cart that all the parts clip on to. What scale is this Prime? I think I'm just going to buy a model trailer and modify it.

I wonder how much I could sell this for as is...

If you are serious about selling your custom job, can I please have the Jetfire armor only?  :(

If so, the artist can post it in either the Junk Pit or the Commissioner's Listing and Feedback. Radicons Customs isn't a for sale section.

I guess it doesn't hurt to try... I'm pretty sure my custom's worth more than nothing, though. I decided I'm going to start cleaning it up and doing detail work, then I'm going to paint it. Then maybe it'll go the way of ebay. But for now, I was thinking of doing a semi-gloss on the SR-71 panels. I think matte is more accurate, but it looks pretty dull.

To agree with everybody, this really is awesome work! The fact that it's just an armor upgrade really makes a big difference!

Holy crap! I was trying to figure out how to get the shin armor attached when it sort of got stuck to the figure. I discovered that Prime's calf armor has a joint that lets it pop out an additional 2 mm for bulk, pretty crazy. It's not in the instructions.

Anyway, thanks to elf magic, the shins now clip into place. I don't know how it works, it wasn't like I planned. I guess I'll post pictures while I have him out. Done. I'm falling in love with this mess all over again. Why can't I quit you!

I cleaned up his chest armor, figured out a ridiculous way to get it to stay in place without elastic, added mass to his shoulder armor because I took too much off, added pins to his thrusters so they'd click in place, shortened his gun a bit, changed the shin armor, made the foot armor smaller. I added apoxie in various places, this guy weighs like 5 pounds now, it feels like he has metal in his feet they're so heavy.

dude how did you accomplish this? can you give me a step by step instructions on how to do what you did to prime? I'd appreciate it very much. And were did you get the parts for this mod?
