hi guys, so starcraft 2 literally made my laptop overheat, and i don't think i'd have funds for a hardware upgrade very soon... good, this means i'll have even more time doing custom TFs! here's my repaint of HFTD jetblade as a cannon fodder. hope to do more olive drab cannon fodders soon, esp with hailstorm, payload, terradive...
Friggin' awesome. You work wonders with that mold Srry to hear about your laptop. I recently bought a Zalman laptop cooler for my laptop. Summer is killing when the gpu has to work hard.
Geez, i've spent so many hours trying to figure out that back wing section, the way it flips out just causes so much paint to come off. Argh. Looks like you had better luck than i did. Awesome Cannon Fodder, though. It really needs to be made for real, the scheme looks cool.

I'd have never guessed that olive green could look so pleasing. The rest of the Olive repaints should be interesting.
Sad to hear about your PC, i read about SC2 overheating computers yesterday and it seems to be a common bug, that has to be fixed manually (don't know if they hotfixed it yet) I don't like dirge very much, but you made the mold look awesome.
truly grateful for the comments from all of you! i really enjoy doing TF repaints and hope to do more soon to tell the truth, i am a great fan of this mold... i've bought both dirge and jetblade, plus a few extra jetblades because i liked the tinted blue cockpit that jetblade has. i have plans for a ramjet and thrust, since hasbro hasnt given us a ramjet repaint and that i couldn't accept ROTF thrust not being a cone head. meanwhile i'll be saving up to buy a new laptop to play starcraft 2, although its gonna be an uphill battle vs all the new awesome waves of TF toys coming... starcraft 2 is something i've waited 12 years for, its something i just... cannot miss
Actually, I quite like the mold. I think it's one reason that this custom works so well is that the paint scheme compliments the mold so well.
sorry bout the laptop, but it looks like you are making damn good use of the extra time. it looks great. On a side note, does anyone else remember the virus hell that Starcraft one unleashed?
