    FINAL PRODUCT PICS IN POST#36
    17/8/2010 - head number 2 on post #43

This is a project cashanova and myself are working on
    CASHABELLY
I'm a g1 fanboy though i love the other lines , i grow up in the 80's and those iconic images of watching tf at 15:30 on tuesdays (in israel) are still eteched deep in my head.

some of the toys were realy a good impression of their counterparts in the show some of them were crap.
one of the most iconic figs is megatron ( i dont need to tell u guys who he is )
his face in the series was of this majestic maniac leader and in the toy it was some skinny looking madman...

so its time to take technology in our hands!!

i present to you the new add on kit by casshanova(nick) and myself ( bellyboy)

there are 4 heads that u can choose from - thats where i need your help guys and gals.which head is the most megs like .
maybe all 4 will b available but most probably only one .

here are the heads that casshanova designed

    head 1
    [IMG]
head 2-comparison between head 1 and head 2
    [IMG]
    head 3

    head 4
    [IMG]
replacing the head is realy easy -just unscrew 2 screws on the butt of the gun(the grey part) ,taking the the original head off and placing the new one in...

the kit will come *numbered with a collectors card(printed on a high quality glossy paper ,and we are still contemplating on the packaging design,if to make it in a clam shell type (which will increase the final price )or just a plain zip lock bag with a paper banner .

    * once those heads will b sold out there will b no more production of those ,we want to give the customer the certainty that he/she bought a quality high collectible item ,not some item that will b reporduce when our cash flow is weak .
the total amount that will b reproduced is depending on the preorder and on your enthusiasm.
please post in the poll which head do u like the most and the post counter will give us a rough estimation of the total that will b produced

please dont asking about pricing in this thread all money issues will b discussed in the proper thread in commissioner listing and feedbacks.

I like the 1st one a lot, though the fourth one seems to fit "G1 toy" aesthetic the best.

Head 1 looks the best to me. His chin might be a little bit on the wide side though, maybe some more tweaking is in order.
So with some people apparently having seen these in the flesh, when can we expect to see some pics of the actual part?

Gotta say I really like this idea and I'll keep a close eye on this thread :)

Toy needs a LOT more than a new face, but it's a start!

    Great work so far!

Well, I DO like him, sort of. The Microchange branch of the Transformers family tree is my favorite part, and indeed the ONLY branch of G1 toys that I actually continue to enjoy owning, and so the Gunrobo sub-branch is beloved, and so I like Megatron.

He was also one of the first 10 TFs I got as a kid.

But those hips....and the trigger-crotch....and the snap-prone waist....and the stubby little arms...and the collapse-prone chest assembly....

He's definitely got vintage-toy-design disease. I own 4 or 5, I think, but none of 'em get displayed, and when they do it's always in Gun-Mode.

But I can DEFINITELY see how your upgrade might make the figure much more compelling!
