Face #1 is my favorite.

What kind of price are we talking about for one of these?

Collection Count: i don't know. i'm honestly scared to count. i had to have broken the 1000 mark by now though....
Face #1.
And skip the clamshell packaging. Sure it looks nice, but unless someone is keeping one MIP, whats the point? it adds cost and complexity for something that doesn't matter the moment you switch out the head. wiht a baggie, you can put the G1 head back in it, and then throw it in the box that megs came with, or even thow it all away if one was so inclined.
But i don't blame ya for wanting to make some nice packaging, i'd want to do the same thing if i was in your shoes. makes it seem more finished.
My two cents.

tnx randy
well the thought of creating something that is collectible is my main idea
yes it came from my idea that megs look like crap but ,its my intention to make it a collectible piece ,with a collectors card (that will b the vack card)and a clam shell (or similar) and a secret bonus .
yes it will make it all tad more expensive but it will have a 3rd company feel product not just a garage kit .

there are many things involved in creating something like this
u need to make atleast 10 mold and some test shots ,paying the desinger ,paying for the materials, print, work involved ,shipping the items, keep track of orders ,if my calculations are right this project will just repay itself ....

tnx guys for checking this thread and your kind insights

I have to agree about the packaging being a waste of money and effort - it's not something I would feel the need to keep, it would go right in the trash after I get the new part out.

Now, if the packaging is adding 25 cents to the cost, big deal - but if it's adding $2 - $3 to the cost it's not something I would want to have to pay for.

You should make a poll and see if people actually want it or not, since they are the ones who will end up paying for it.

thats what i was getting at. under a dollar would be reasonable, anything more i'm not as excited about.
I understand wanting to make somethign seem more produced and all, but I feel like too many people try and do somethign to big their first try out. Concetrate on the product and make a good one. people will remember that in the the long run over how it was packaged. Nothing wrong with garage kits, as long as the product is done well. Thats all I'm trying to get across.

But it looks good! Sorry, i forgot to say that. I'll be buying one, i've never liked the originals head.

Yeah, even MP had many of the same issues, it's inherent in the design!

I love him too though (on some level) and would certainly buy your upgrade when it's ready

Looks great!
I like head 1 best, but the more horizontal eyes of mk2 look better than those on mk1.

After seeing the pic of the actual casted piece I definately prefer the 3rd face.
I agree with others that clamshell packaging isn't necesarry. A ziplock baggy would suffice for me.
Though I do definately understand the intend, I'll probably toss out the package the moment I open it.

Anyway, can't wait to see some colored pics of the actual products. Keep up the good work!
