SUP SUUUP!! , what's goin on boys n girls? I have here and now in hand my custom(yet unfinished) HftD Ironhide. Base coat is Testors lacquer paint gloss black, which by the way, is an awesome paint. Chrome accents are testors lacquer chrome silver. Grill, air intake (inside the silver trim), light housings, bumpers, and bed "floor" are painted all in flat testors enamel flat black, because I couldn't seem to fun any lacquer flat black.. For bot mode same base gloss black, dry brushed with the flat to give it that faded paint feel. Then dry brushed again with a custom mix of gray for highlighting, and dry brushed again with testors lacquer metalizer steel for the chipped paint effect. The gold accents are Testors lacquer metalizer brass. Hope you guys like the figure, he's goin to the bay soo as I finish the detail work on this tail lights and the... Turn signals?? Idk, what ever that lights on the front fenders are. I'm guessing they are turn signals. With those, I'll be using a clear orange over the chrome silver, same with the tail lights. Those will be chrome silver with clear red orange and yellow over them. Thanks for checkin this out guys!!
Wow, that is awesome! Love the detailing you put into it. Your repaint almost makes me want to buy this figure.
