Since they announced that Hasbro is releasing a Perceptor (truck?) I decided to share this 2 year (maybe older) WIP.

this is a great job. they never had an articulated true looking perceptor. finish it and they will come... to admire
i think he was going for that reachy-toe look g1 perc had in alt mode. i like it a lot! i love all the sniper attention he's received lately due to that change in his character.
The toe thing is fine, but I think he was referring to the fact the tank treads were on the insides of the legs instead of the outsides. Unless it affects a third transformation mode, I would agree switching the legs would be a good idea. Having said that, it looks great and I would love to see him in a clean red paint scheme.
NEVER! I will not have you cursing at my robot No partsforming on him, where does it look like he does though (just curious) Oh he'll be finished, eventually. I have a few commissions I have to knock out first. He'll get painted fo sho' , but the treads on the inside is how his G1 transformation went. I was simply paying homage to it. and regarding the sniper rifle, Wheel_jack gets the props on making me do that.

I think I might have arm/leg dyslexia since I thought his feet were attached to the blue parts that became the upper sections on the microscope mode, but those are his arms. *facepalm* Ignore my foolishness
I guess that Cyb Mudflap figure is actually good for something... The overall proportions suit him very well. How about making the microscope detachable so that our geeky mate can use it as a weapon? That would be cool!
Verrrrry interestnig. Good choices for the parts (though there aren't a lot of spare Shockblasts floating around these days). The Alt Skids head is almost too perfect. zmog
