I repainted an Animated Ratchet into G1 Skids, with a head swap for Sentinel Prime's.

The colors are as close as I can get them , this guy had 2 other photoshoots before I called it quits and color corrected him. This color blue does not photograph well, it always shows up lighter than it truly is. It was the same I used for my Beachcomber , with the same problem. It's too bad it looks so good in my collections or I'd stop using it.

    Here he is

    He's for sale too!

I love the idea but the paint is a little sloppy. This concept has so much potential.

That's what I'm saying , it does not look like this at all in my hands. I may take a new shoot with a diferent background tonight. This is really driving me nuts !

are you using an airbrush, or just is everything by hand?

OK folks, I'll admit when I've been a doof!

I was getting so frustrated with this guy, the pics were not coming out right! It turns out the software I use to rename and add watermarks had the "sharpen" setting set WAAAAY too high. (total rookie mistake WTF?) Lesson learned there. I have noticed a few other spots I'm going to clean up, after staring at these pics for 5 hours in the past few days :/
