    Recipe:
    Base Body: Universe Tankor
    Forearms, Turret: Energon Landmine

    Duros:
    Base Body: Armada mini-con Spiral
    Legs: Armada Leader-1
    Hardhead face/arms: Armada Galvatron face

    Games Workshop Citadel Acrylics:
    Chaos Black
    Codex Grey
    Goblin Green
    Scorpion Green
    Chainmail Silver
    Sunburst Yellow

Here is my take on a Classics Headmaster Hardhead and Duros. The recipe is listed above for both figures. I chose to deviate from the original color scheme and layout for a few reasons. First, I thought that with such large treads, it would blend in too much with the black. Secondly, the orginal's avocado green had to go. This isn't the 70's, we can update the color to something less obnoxious.

I know that there's a few touch ups that need to be done. Some of it is a little bit of paint wear that's occurred from handling it, the rest is spots I just missed with the base coat.

Overall, I'm happy with the piece. I think it's a good representation of a cool character and a great excuse to turn a meh mold into something better.

    Comments and criticisms welcome.

Thank you! I really wanted to take my time painting on this one. It's the one area I needed to and always can improve upon. The Tankor mold has a lot of great molded in details that were lost in the bland factory paint job.

    Thanks!

Thanks guys! I liked the way Duros turned out too. I didn't know if I was going to like the face as his arms but it looks all right.
