Certainly not a new idea here, but I thought it was kinda cool how they took Lockdown from animated, and brought him into ROTF.

Well, I guess the same idea applies to what I was thinking for Soundwave.
The head, looks too anime' to fit with ROTF..
    Just me tooling around.
Gonna work on some paint, as soon as I get my new kit.

The whole reverse bot idea is certainly nothing new, especially with all those Trail-breaker mods out there.
    So credit where due.
Most of the work went into hinging the windshield. It's not removable any more.
I just got lucky enough to find a piece to use as a hinge that measured exactly the right length.
Also the tabs on the hood sections were rounded off to make a ball and socket joint.
The holes on the door panels were enlarged slightly to keep the ball from stressing out the tabs.

    See Pic.

Took me forever with some alcohol and magic eraser, but I removed the paint from the doors.

That's badass. I really like the transparent doors. Be cool if the whole thing was that way.

I think the chest is just backwards. The real chest is actually the back and the back is now the chest. Genious really, creates a whole new figure.

Wow, makes me wish i had an Offroad IH to do that with now. that is seriously awesome. reverse torso was a stroke of genius, and the alternate hood transform is a callback to his satellite mode wings. VERY nice.

Awe-some. The doors were an absolutely nice touch. Way to make an Offroad Ironhide like 20x better.

Those are some really remarkable modifications you've got going on there! Making those hinges into ball joint is extremely clever. I wouldn't have thought that could be done! where does his roof go now?

I didn't really do anything to the doors, besides paint removal. The tech was there already, and since they are transparent, you can actually see it now.
I also added some old stickers I had laying around to the windows, for a bit more tech.
