Hello! I like fembots. I set about to collect them all! Except I didn't want more than one version of any given character. Or any given mold. Or any expensive rarities. Or repaints of dudes. So I figured I'd customize some to fill in the gaps created by my own arbitrary rules and general cheapness. Thus, I took an RID Side Burn (Dumbest name... EVER!) and a repro Roulette head from Pun3x, and made my own little Shadow Striker. It was a surprisingly irksome repaint and I'm not real happy with how it turned out. I changed a few of the paint-apps a little, but she's pretty close to her much more expensive form. Here she is my other Decepti-Queens, including custom Antagony and Flamewar:
COOL! It's kinda neat to know that's one of the heads I made. You did a great job with the repaint; I think she came out just fine.
You know I haven't seen my Shadow Striker in years. (she and her sis are packed away) I might just have to dig her up, just to see how her tires\plastic are fairing after what 7 or 8 years... wow I feel old now
I do indeed! I realized after the fact that since this mold is basically a shellformer, I should've taken the chance to swap out some of the bot-bits for girlier ones. Alas, fembot parts are very hard to come by. Oh well.
Wow a transformer that does look like a girl, not some steroid popping butch lady. Refreshing, the head is very nice as well. I recently got back into alts and I had completely forgotten that terrible Arcee they made. They picked a "boy" transformers with huge shoulders. My Shadow Striker will always just be an evil wheely in my heart.
I still have the original MIB. I need to make sure I display those. They were the exclusives from the first con I ever went to.
I think this turned out very wonderfully! After talking to you about those stripes, I have to say I'm impressed how they came out. I can't wait to see this one in person This is neat that t's custom here prompts some nostalgic thoughts from you guys, but what do you think about his custom?
