    Ebay:
For the past week I've been going through all of my boxes of tf's, picking out the undesirables, and throwing them into a lot that's going up on eBay. I came across an Energon Ironhide figure that I decapitated for some failed project and then promptly forgot about. I started to think about what I could customize the figure into when I glanced over to my book case and saw a MASK Condor figure sitting there. I promptly knew what to do.

    Recipe:
    Base Body: Energon Ironhide
Turret: Armada Demolishor (another undesirable I came across)
    Missile tips: Mechanical pencils
    Dagger: Armada Liftor
    Flamethrower: Armada Megatron turret
    Flame: Lego Bionicle piece

I think it's looking good so far. All that's left to be done is to put a face onto Dagger's back. Considering how goofy the original looked, I'm using a Star Wars Clone trooper helmet as the base and then using sculpt.

Yes, Ironhide's transformed that way on purpose. I think that it looks infinitley better than the "proper" way.

Comments and criticisms are welcome. A backstory will come with the completion of the figure. I have a few other M.A.S.K. crossovers in the wings. Depending on how you guys react to this one, I may or may not continue.

That's pretty cool. And I like how you're making him a headmaster. A headmaster for a series devoted to the power of the masks, seems so fitting.

    nice work!

That transformation does look much better than how it's intended to transform- it actually makes an Energon figure not look terrible! Also I love the idea of MASK Transformers. Keep up the good work!

Wow, that leg transformation looks good - I've never seen an Energon Ironhide in real life, just in pictures, but I am suprised that the figure can so easily be mistransformed into something that looks so natural, it even has the little feet and everything :D

that's because that's how it should look as a torso. it was designed to have the 2ndary transformation.

i also think it looks great as a standalone.. Great job!

My sentiments pretty much echo both of these put together. Making this figure a headmaster makes so much sense since Ehide looks so stupid with his head not hidden in alt mode!

Everything you've done so far looks great! I'd recommend doing something with the tips of those pencils just so they don't look like pencils. As one who's certainly used his share of pencils in bashes, I pass that along to you as well as my best wishes for this one! Keep up the good work! :thumb

This is a great idea! You have to continue this crossover. After this one, if you made another one out of a jetfire or cliffjumper, you could make a combiner!!!!

    post more progress pics!!!!

Ah yes, I forgot about Energon's combiner gimmick - I only own a couple of energon figures and have never bothered with trying that out...

Very nice, but the flame does look outta place, looks more like a lightning bolt.

Maybe you should use one of those Iron Man 2 Fire penises, they would work great for flames.

What is the master made out of?

Ah Masters are the in thing now.
