Not much done at the moment, but I finally got some green and yellow paint for this guy. I've also finished modding the second arm since the last time I posted pictures of this project. Still working out the copter-mode, but I've got the car-mode all figured out (hard not to when starting with a figure that originally transformed into a car).

Charging up the camera's battery atm, but I'm planning on taking some more photos later tonight. Got the green on the chest done, and I've sprayed the lower arms with some primer. Once I find my role of tape I'll be putting some yellow on the chest and some green on the arms and some other parts.

    Thank you, kind sirs :hookday

    Thank you :D

Sorry for the delay. The yellow took more coats than I had thought, but it's looking pretty good. I still have some touch-ups to do on the chest piece and the arms before I can clear-coat them. Got some primer and green on the rear wheel assemblies. Next thing I have planned to do is to take apart the rest of the torso so I can paint it green too. Then I can concentrate on the head and copter kibble.

what type of masking did you do? also, do you plan on leaving that front turbine thingy yellow? i might add a bit of silver to help accentuate it.

    Thank you.

Just regular masking tape. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done, and the touch-ups won't be hard to do. there's a piece to that front turbine that I took off before painting it. If my memory is correct it's silver, and I'll be adding it back on after I clear-coat the chest.

    Thank you.

I've got the rest of the torso, for the most part, painted (the back section with the key gimmick built into it). Might take one more coating of green, but I should have it clear-coated sometime tonight. I'll wait till I put him back together to take a new photo of him.

    Thank you.

Sorry it's been so long since I last updated. The power supply in my computer died, and I'm currently in the process of getting a new one (just got the old one out). Probably won't update till I get a new one in there (currently on a library computer).
