He's a big bad tank with a big bad head. I made him from a toy tank, a bunch of styrene and a pair of Cybertron Bulkhead arms. The bulkhead hands still flip up into his wrists, so he still has his right hand in there. The cannon extension pegs onto the gun nub that flips out. A while ago, I made a Warpath- still incomplete- from the same toy tank. I think it's pretty neat that two such different toys came out of the same source. Thanks to everyone who voted! |

I had Destroyer as a kid, and that thing was SOLID, LOTS of metal on him. The Gobots were a uniquely different breed of transforming bots...there will always be a place in my heart for these guys. Oh, and GREAT job on the Warpath too by the way!! |

You Sir, have done him so much justice with this articulated hommage custom. Only minor nitpick's the altmode ; the US M60 tank instead of a German Leopard 1 tank.... but... they do share some design similarities. Robot mode is just amazing. Love the anonimous turrethead |

This is one that I really got into. I have to admit that I HATED the big Gobots as a kid. I thought that their big weird heads were really dumb. I'm still not crazy about the car guys but Destroyer here has really grown on me. I see the turret head as him being really bad-assed and not wanting his bot mode to be any less powerful than his tank mode. My Flickr Page Yes, not the right model tank, but I got this one in a ten dollar army set at RITE AID, so you can't really beat that. I did remember make him the iron cross stickers. One of these day's I'll finish that Warpath, I promise! |
