Well, here’s my repainted Tuner Mudflap. Since Mudflap looked more like G1 Skids with the "door backpack" and such, I repainted him into ROTF Autobot Crosscut!

Now, I know the paint work's sloppy, I know. But it was and is my first full repaint, so it's special.

The Autobot insignia is on the hood, just like the G1 toy.

Maybe if I feel like it, I'll fix up the paint job somewhere down the line. Maybe...

I'll see if I can get better pictures, and if I do, I'll post 'em.

Anyway, Comments & Criticism are welcome!

That paint looks pretty good. However, I would give him a different head. He just looks like Mudflap in alternate colors.

Uh.... Already switched some of the parts from Skids. :lol  Weird....

By "missile storage thing", Do you mean where you put the missile in vehicle mode? Because I see no problem with it being there. I only have a problem when the missile is actually in storage.

well, it can take care of the "chest whiskers" it haves, and you can give it a less hunchback look to him.

I really like this one! Congrats on your first custom! :)  I'm really glad that you took on the "Tuner Mudflap Loves You" challenge :)  I hope you had a LOT of fun with this and that you continue doing more! MOAR!! :D

I think if you give this guy a different head, you're gonna have a totally rockin' Crosscut! I certainly think this was a cool route to go for this one! GREAT work :thumb

    Thanks SQ7!

I think I might be going with the Jazz head..... with some mods of course.

But in all honestly.... I might go back to Wal-Mart and get another Tuner Mudflap to keep..

*whistles* so,what did i miss with this custom, well may i suggest something else ? well remember that crosscut came with one of these fancy scooters?,maybe you can spruce up a transformable scooter gun thing out of something,it can plug in on the back of the vehicle mode.

Genius use of the mold, I love how the "end" result came out. I see bringing up the need for an alternate head won't be neccessary since you're already considering a replacement, so I'll just agree with the Jazz head being a good choice. G1 Crosscut's head looked a little like Optimus Prime's head to me, but a properly painted Jazz head should really make that custom look awesome.

Hmmm... Now when I look at it....

Does the Jazz head even have to be modded?

Also MrSoundmeister, I know about the scooter, but I probably won't include it unless I find something..

hmmm, well yeah modding it would be a good idea, maybe try to make it as close as the original's head design.
and about the scooter thing, how bout using a minicon or a legends arcee or something?
