W.I.P ROTF Ultra Magnus update, this time i really have a trailer comming the first one was to small. i do these repaint by what there file card say. hinst the helmet, mask what have you, he's a solder first, hinst very intemidating mask. still have to do mods on it..the trailer that is WORK IN PROGRESS im useing that silver on the doors as a backing color, i might just go diaclone with this. have tons of cleaning up to do,plus the grill.
that helmet makes him look insane!!! Like he is the one that is going to rip someones face off!!! I really like you paint work and colors on this guy!
That's a great repaint. I like the mods you did to him. Can't wait to see it with a trailer. Can you post a few pics of the Vehicle mode in the meantime? Update 5/29: The trailer looks great. Are you going to try to incorporate that into his transformation?
Very original idea and pretty good execution. The paint looks a bit rushed in some areas. Also, the description was a hard read my man....
Interesting so far - trailer looking good, and the battle mask works well. More in keeping with the design than trying to just cludge it into a G1 style. A realistic paint scheme that references the Diaclone colours could work pretty well too, actually
That trailer kicks a$$ man! I like how you used it for just the tractor mode as well - very clever!! This is definitely good stuff SP!!
the helmet really isnt doing it any favours. It looks too bug-like, not very Magnus-like at all. The rest looks great so far though.
I feel you, i hated this whole line at first. then i just accept the changes in time, i just cant put a g1 looking face on a toy that is light year beyond g1 toys. i do that g1 head swop with classics, nothing in this line is g1 like except for colors from time to time. thats what classics and univers are for. feel free to make one and dont put that mask on it, if it suite you.
