So this is my fourth attempt at a custom, a simple blue repaint of ROTF Brakedown. The first three being a black ROTF Nightbeat, a green ROTF Ejector, and a black Energon Sharkticon which I'm basically done with even though it still looks very much like a WIP. It's clearly not done but I figured with this much done I'd put up a WIP thread. The alt mode: And robot mode: Comments and critiques are welcome.
Well you've seen that picture I posted in the Tuner Mudflap thread, but for now just the five. I want to at least finish ONE before I start another.
I think he meant "What else are you planning to do TO THIS PROJECT?" The blue looks like it could use another coat to help cover the white underneath? -And maybe a little black paint on the widows to help define them AS windows?
Yeah I'm not getting why the windows are same color as the rest of it. I'm still trying to find this lil guy. My Argos has him pictured in their catalogue but he's never one of the ones they bring out for customer view or in stock at all and I haven't seen him anywhere else. He's a nifty looking scout from the pics I've seen and I want one to own as himself and a couple more to paint up.
Oh. Well as I've said, I've yet to finish one of these, but I hope to paint all the remaining white parts. I use paint pens, and the ones I have are too think to get into every spot (like there's still white spots on the doors). I thought it was a good idea at the time, but looking at it in pictures I can see it looks weird. I'll paint them black again at some point.
