Leader RotF Optimus Prime Axe Scratchbuilt (WIP)

Hi this is my try on my First Scratchbuilt item. ;)

I´m building an Energon Axe for Leader Optimus Prime (Ive also got plans for making one for the classics as these two aint got one)

First ive made a Sketch on the computer and then ive cut the pieces so i could build the axe.

On the One Sketch u will see how the final version will look with the knob that fits into optimus hand.

Ive left out the Round piece but im not sure if ill pick this idea up later...

This is still a WIP and ive still got quite some sculpting to do. hehe ;)

    Hope u like the Axe.
For paint i´ll either go with a grey metal look or a yellow/orange look with some metal grey on the sharp parts.

I'll be interested to see how you make the ax match the movie look.

So far, this is some very interesting work :thumb

Looking nice! Just my thoughts on the design... If you go by the movie style, the base of the axe should look like an extension of Prime's forearm. So that the design flows into it, and looks like 1 complete part, instead of two different parts, that don't match. Kind of like how movie Bumblebee's arm transforming into his canon. The design flows into it, so that it looks like one complete part. Maybe that is something you can try to incorporate into your design. Keep up the good work. :thumb

    Thx for the nice Comments.

@Venksta: I´ll try tom make the axe as the G1 Axe looks so there will be a box around the grip.

The silver metallic paint i´ll use for the axe will also be applied on the grey botmode parts, so the whole thing looks as if it was made for prime
