Just picked up Chromia and was pleasantly surprised. However, the stand she comes with doesn't work for my preferred configuration, and also doesn't allow me to pose her in an action pose, so I built a new one out of lego. The white piece at the back (which, alas, comes only in white) plugs into her combination tabslot thinger. Also took the pin out of her gun arm bicep so she can actually straighten the arm and point the gun in useful directions. Finally, I made her a license plate decal and added some reflective red vinyl where her rear lights should be. Not a huge difference but it pleases me
"I love Ironhide." It works a little better if you read it thinking about how Ironhide would say it. "Aarrnhide." Although, it's still kinda tough to read that without an "i". Sweet upgrades. I'm diggin' it.
Yeah it took me a few tries reading it before it clicked and I remembered who this character is. Nice touch.

is it true Elita-One is just a repaint of this figure? Does that mean it's possible to already do a combined form with Arcee & two Chromia's? I've not seen much about it. Also can I see the stand on it's own and maybe the pieces used to make it? Trying to figure it out. Lego looks like it's changed quite a fair bit since I collected it 20 years ago. So many pieces I've never seen before.
I believe Elita-1 is expected to be a repaint of this figure, yes. There are a couple threads around where people have tried the combination. Here's a pic of the stand from the back, showing the parts and how it attaches. The raised edge on this piece fits in between the black and grey plastic in her tab-slot thingy at the back, then you close it up again, trapping the end inside. I suppose this one might work as well. All the parts are technic and can be found for sale on that site. Cheers all!
Oh right. I wasn't aware you could order specific bricks. I just assumed people bought the big packs and used whatever was available. Thanks for the links. I might have to build me a stand like that when I get Chromia. Probably should order double parts to have a stand ready for Elita-One too. Thanks for the help
