Hi all ,A few weeks ago I happen to see FR Thomas the train transformers which really give me another inspiration in creating some related to transformer with interesting concept like Thomas train.Well looking at this theme I happened to bump into this set of toys and decided to work on it .The plastic and joint is kinda weak so I have to strengthen both the material .After weeks of working finally I have come out with something decent like this .Will proceed to the paint application straight away.Enjoy ;)

Cool, how did you strengthen the joints an plastic? I'm working on some issues myself and am wondering what techniques you used to fix this. Any specific details or WIP pics would be great, thanks!

DAmn.. you may have done one of the projects I've been procrastinating on working on!

I'm going to strengthen the plasitic a bit by reinforcing it with some hardening putty like mighty putty, since the arms and legs are wide open and easy access to stuff the putty into.

Love the articulation! Better pics showing more would be great!

Ya actually for the joints I used ball joint as it is stronger and for the weak plastic I have actually added some mass to it just to fill up the hole .Too bad I didn't prepare for the WIP .I will do so next time when I prepare for my next project. Thanks for enlightenment ;)

Cool ,thats the right choice u r making ,I'm actually doing the same but alot more on hardener and additional of parts .No worries will update more when its fully completed soon/;)

hahah ya he is lol ;)
