WIP Powermaster Prime 6/26/12 Update...Threw some color and some details on this guys too get me motovated to work on this guy some more. Still need to put on MP Prime hands , modify G1 powermaster Prime guns with handles for said hands.. Also need to mount New MP prime wheels to rear trailer to make it sit a little higher, And of course do some more paint apps. Also there are pictures else where in this thread All C&C welcome.
powermasters, looks too cybertronian for G1. Try using a minicon of some sort to hook on to the tab you left for the headpiece to attach. Hope this helps!
I see where you're wanting to go with this piece, and I think the alt mode is getting there. However, I don't think the head matches up too well. I'd suggest using something that will allow you to bring that waist all the way down as well. What I think would be really cool is seeing how you could make this alt mode really shine. I think some type of utility flatbed truck with some accessories on the back could really sell this one. Keep up the good work
Hmmm, you do have something going there I think. What I'd suggest, as Sq7 said, was to do something with the waist. And the head, a bit big. If you have a bit of cash, I'd suggest going to Yourreflection's site and getting one of his leader heads. Top notch work, and it allows you to do what you want with it. You know....if you redid the paint apps and gave it different head all together, this could go for a pretty cool Motormaster. Prime's "Rival".
head is to big? I was thinking that till i put the shoulder pads on him...I guess I'll have to think about it more.....
update! ok first off..I have thought about it and put mp prime and my custom next to each other and I think the head is a good fit size wise. I got some r.i.d. ultra magnus trailer parts for his legs off e-bay and they where missing a foot so I just scracth built two of them, not done still need to add detail and make them shorter still. I also have a g1 cab that I have cut to fit for his chest so he will have some of that powermaster look I'm going for(pics of that soon)that with the trailer pieces on his legs,i think will give him a sorta updated PM look anyway.I will mod the trailer pieces with styrene so it is a rectangle like the og. instead of a car carrier in vehicle mode. if anyone knows what gundum model would have the right fit hands for thiss let me know.oh and i put yellow on the forearms for more of that g1 feel..not quite the right color but not sure i like the yellow now and the g1 cab has a mp matrix bay also...all c&c welcome!
picture update! I got the g1 cab attached,still needs a bit of work though. Not sure if i want to keep the horns and lights on top,of cousre it will get painted red. Not sure if i like the motor/gun i have taped in place for the hi-q look of power master prime. The feet are almost done and i think they will give him that powermaster look i'm going for. All C&C welcome and appreicated.

Mm, I'm not digging the head either. If I were doing this, I'd hunt down a cheap God Ginrai and use a lot of those parts as kind of a shell. The original Optimus Primal head is probably a good size and pretty close to Ginrai if you mod the antennae.

updated! new picture on first post of NEW in scale head...hope you approve SQ7,if you like it, i know i'm golden then. I modded the og head so it reminded me of prime more,still not done with it but i thought it lookedgood enuff to show what i did so far.hope you guys like it.
small update,2 new pictures on first post. one was just for fun,as it's prime stomp'n on megatron and i threw what little matching blue paint i had left on the feet just for some color and to see how i liked them.....all paint apps are a W.I.P. still.
