Although the white isnt movie accurate, it does look nice and lends this a nice bit of originality over the hundreds of other Sideways customs that have been done. I do hope you are going to add a nice coat of gloss to seal the paint once your done with the stripes? A high-end sports car like this should look like glass.
Even though the white looks different to the movie look i like it very much. The Black and the other coloured details look great man
oh ok..i don't know exactly what that technique too..mmm frenzy_rumble has made a video tutorial for this "pinstripping technique" here's the link: YouTube - Tutorial : Pin Striping with enamels thx bro i hope i can get a nice gloss coat too..because this is will be the first time for me thx, The_Jack
a little update: i've created an audi logo from a ballpoint pen ink-cartridge..still not painted yet, this is only a test shot overall..i'm not very satisfied with the result..i think i will try fakebusker83's technique using a wire cable/rings..
Eh? What happened to the decals you were planning to use? I thought that would be better. The reason I didn't was because I can't find decal paper in the first place.
i still use the decal for the racing stripes and circuit pattern..but i want the audi logo have an embossed effect like a real car logo emblem, and i can't get that effect with decal ;D
I see...Well good luck then. Experiment and practice! Eventually the technique will flesh itself out. Help is here whenever you need it
