Thanks, it's just the poor lighting that is making him come off so bright. When he's complete I'll take some good pics with an SLR and you'll see he's still got plenty of evil ;)

Let me start off with this came out great, nice work. Can we get a picture of him in robot mode next to an mp seeker or any mp or an altenator? Oh and where are the panels you used for back ground from? Again really great job!

Damn I love the paintwork on that. I didn't care much for the classics Grimlock design (mostly the robot legs annoyed me) but you've made this oversized one look like a figure I'd buy instantly if I ever saw it in a shop. The color scheme and the way it's used is just gorgeous.

    Solrac333: Thanks!

Alloy Alchemist: Thanks man, I can take a picture of it in robot mode soon, though I have to find some suitable weapons for him. The ones he came with are beyond cheesy. The backgrounds I use are called Kotobukiya's Mechanical Chain Base. You can find them on ebay here and there and they come with a whole bunch of cool extra props. I haven't got around to painting mine yet which should really help my presentation. I need two more sets though as you can see I can't fit a large figure like this one on just two of them.

Here is a link: Mechanical Chain Base 002

sarakawa: Thanks bro! My next custom will probably be a war within shockwave. I got the marvel crossover hulk figure and you know how badly I need more shockwaves.

    Anti-Venom: Thanks!

Carnivac: I really appreciate it! I don't really care for the robot mode either, but it's grown on me while working on it.

    [Wing_Saber-X]: Thank you!!

RIDUltraMagnus: Thanks bro. I love looking at the before and after photos just for that reason. Taking an $11 KO that looks like that and *ahem* transforming it into something I'm truly proud of is what it's all about!

    top-draw: Danke!
