They look awesome, but Snaptrap looks weird having tank trends for legs. But that my only gripe about it.
When I added the legs, he seemed a little boring. Felt like I was copying the G1 asthetic just to copy it. I will give the option to have legs later. Just liked the almost Cybertronian/transmetals feel that the treads gave him.
I see what your talking about. I think its unique and creative idea. But this is your custom so you do what you feel is right.
True. And at this point i'm still experimenting with different things. Might drop that concept entirely. No idea.
Well experimenting with different concepts is interesting to say the least, but don't drop the concept entirely...maybe attach claws to the trends and find a way to rotate the claws out of the way to convert into trends. Now thats an idea. So take that into consideration.
very cool to see someone else do a seacon combiner, they never get enough love, and imo they are a far superior team than the devastators and Bruticus' every1 makes. the biggest problem I had was that the Beast wars molds arent too steady in alt mode, I had to make the legs and make the leg bots just attach to them, dissappointing for me but still looks OK. Snap Trap looks really cool as a 'tank', and its a great concept. but if you were keepin his cybertron mode I would loose the turtle head, imo
Agreed. These guys do not get enough love. I actually liked the idea of the almost Transmetals feel to the turtle head and treadfs combined. Though i'm most likely going to add feet instead since the other seacons are going with legs and fins etc.
