*He is finished!! Big thanks to SonofNemesis for giving me several really great tips! I know this has been done several times, but I did it too! I took a complete Acid Storm and turned him into Thundercracker. I'm trying as best I can to make him look as close to the botcon version as possible. There are a few more paint apps I need to do which are the black highlights on the shins, the two on the crotch plate, the two on the shoulder armor, and the nosecone. I am also getting in the stickers for his wings sometime this week. Once I get the black on and the stickers fixed I will put more pics up.
I thought of that too using Acidstorm as repaint for Thundercracker. I can't wait to finish mine too as I'm trying to print out my decals to finish him up. Anyway, nice one on the repaint rendition of Thundercracker .
Good catch, I'll be adding this to my paint apps list. I did'nt really recognize how noticable it was til you mentioned it, now it's driving me nuts lol.
SWEET! I luv ur customs man! there sweet keep it up!!! and keep me updated! Im tryin some on my own...Ill tell u wen they up...check em out and leave me a comment Id luv to have advice from a customizer like U! Later Bro!
I'm not sure on that one. I used flat paints instead of gloss because the botcon Thundercracker didn't seem glossy to me. What do you guys think? Should I do a gloss coat?
I agree with SonOfNemesis. Painting the cockpit will take away an unnescesarry eye sore. And a gloss coat will push this one over the top! Did I spell unnescessary wrong? I can never tell!
Here is a new pic of cracker color corrected, but without wings on. Also adding pics of my upcoming Masters of the Universe 2002 Faker (WIP)
AWSOME!!!!!!...I likee da action figs sword...is that a heman fig? thundercracker looks awsome still!
Yeah this is He-Man as he appeared in the 2002 MOTU line. Got him at a Flea Market this weekend with a Skeletor, so I thought "why not?" The sword still needs a few more paint apps, as does He-Man. Got some tape today as well, so now I can get the stripes on Thundercrackers wings finished.
