This is really, really cool. I love how bulky Rodimus looks in alt mode contrasted with the more sleek robot mode. I think smoothing down some areas and working on some gaps would really send this piece through the roof you've already blown open with it
Wow, thank you all for the absolutely fantastic response to this build. I am humbled. Thank you for liking this custom. I am estatic with the amount of interest. I will certainly try to answer the questions only. The others who have commented with feedback, I humbly thank you for those comments also as it keeps me motivated. Kryptofred, the legs used are from G1 Jetfire. THe joints are well concealed but the movements are as per the G1 legs front and back tilt. Concealing is the art isnt it? hehe.. thank you. I would have to say, of my customs, this is the most proud of in Alt mode. I normally focus alot on the bot mode and less in the alt, but with this one, I absolutely wanted to get it right. I am glad the scale worked out too and sits well with the other 2 leaders of the autobots. Keep up the collection my friend. Rodimus is an old fav even if he killed the series. I was very fortunate that Wikkid let me have part of his love. I hope he will allow me to collect more of his amazing customs. Same with you too, when are you going to do me a Computron !! Thank you. There were certainly alot of thoughts put in and somethings just worked out even when it wasnt planned... Junkers are a great source of bots. G1. Junker Jetfire without arms.. got it on eBay from US.. wheroiewrtnetsdf ewmr what ? hehehe. Glad you likey. Me too. I hope they do it to Prime scale instead of Seekers. Heck, hope they do both but whats the bet its Hot Rod first? Thank you. MP Magnus for those interested is the Dreamtoyz figure. The bot one you see is a personal custom though I changed the legs to use Dreamtoyz and custom painted it. Hmmm.. I will look at the gaps but I think the disjoint areas give the trailer excellent depth.. The side flames took me ages to do.
That is one expensive set of parts for the trailer. LOL. Looks great man. Another original and unique bash by you.
Not too expensive since I had junker trailers lying around. Found some of the trailers from going to the weekend markets for $2 a long time ago. The CC kit was probably the most expensive but I also got that at a good price. I guess if we add everything up, it does mount. Thank you for the comments Mampy and following my bashes. TQ. The collection took a long time and its the pinnacle of my enjoyment in this hobby. urr... Everybody is kung fu fighting... thank you and you guys kick ass too.
