This is my first attempt at a combiner. I'll be making all 6 Seacons with the Target master gimmick intact.

The robot modes have a far more organic look than their G1 counterparts. I always thought the robot modes looked boring anyway.

So far, I have Snaptrap, Tentakil and a 20% completed Seawing.

Snaptrap is made from a heavily modified Rampage and a G1 Snaptrap. The head is from a scaled down MP prime. I chose that to reflect the very Prime-esque head Snappy had.

Tentakil is made from a modded BW Scuba with BM Savage feet and a ROTF scout head. The scout head actually has a very crustaceon feel to it. The lights on the helmet will be painted to look like cephalapod eyes.

Seawing's beast features are actually made from an Animated Shockwave gun and parts from a junker BM Nightscream.

The final combined mode will use parts from Optimal Optimus (the crotch, legs and lower arms). The head will be a modded G1 Piranacon head.

Update- Working out the combination. Trying to keep decent proportions is proving to be a little challenging but do-able.

Still got a lot of work ahead.

So far so good. :)  I really like the idea of using Rampage as a base for Snaptrap - it seems to have worked out rather well. I'll be keeping my eye on you! :D

Yeah. I look at my Rampage on my display shelf, and I can't imagine hurting that figure. It just looks so damn pretty... It's easily in my top 5 Transformers figures of all time...

Maybe seeing your project here finished may compel me to go hunting on the intarwebz for one to kitbash. :)

Got mine for like 780 at Akiba. Love Japan. So easy to find Junkers for kitbashing.

You'll have to point me in the direction of some good hunting grounds. :)  I have about 3 Toy's R Us that I know of locally, some odd spots in Akihabara, and some Yellow Submarine stores in Yokohama and Tokyo.

Mostly Liberty and Mandarake in Akiba. I also like Mandarake in Nakano but they don't have as many loose figs these days. G1 Snaptrap came from there for 2100yen.

Tokyo. I'm based in Shinagawa which is just 15 minutes on the train to Akihabara.

Ah, Akiba as in Akihabara? I'm down South in Yokosuka, so it's a bit of a trip for me. We probably venture up that way once a month or so. :)
