first up, ratchet. as you can see, I made his chest thing black. I also added a reprolabels autobot logo, as well as the spare war wound sticker I've had for around a year in a bin now. Knew I'd be able to use it. Also, waspinator. Waspinator has molded detail in his chest underneath his beast head, and when you paint it black, it shows up in robot mode and shows some nice detail.
I'd recommend taking a toothpick and some 90% alcohol to that Waspinator stripe to clean it up a bit. Aside from that, these are some neat additional details. Sometimes subtly wins the day
Ditto what SQ7 said. I find it also helps to use an X-acto knife to gently shave off excess paint along edges, so you can end up with nice clean lines.
with waspinator I'm not that concerned, because in my mind it makes him more MONSTROUS. moar pics later.
