Tried to seperate the "robot parts" from the "plane parts" from both modes and I tried to go with what he would look like if Bay put him in the movie, Hope you guys enjoy.
    MindWipe is up next.

    I like it.

Did you do any sanding or intense prep-work, or just a wash and paint?

Not really I just used Enamel paint Flat black, Silver, Gold. Alot of people that try to paint movie figures into better "movie" figures some times forget to look at the smooth flat plane parts that the designers put on to the robot parts but are hidden in vehicle mode, I try and pay attention to the detail to see where the designers mean to sepreate robot from plane parts on a mold.

    Oh ok. Thanks.

I've never done any sort of customizing and was thinking about trying out by painting a scout. I have no clue where to begin so I've been reading some stuff in the Radicons area and seems like people mention sanding a lot, and others seem to just say to wash it first. Yours looks great. Good to know that sanding isn't all that necessary though. Thanks.

Very nice taking that gray and blacking it out. It really brought out all the details.

I think the sanding/washing thing is usefull if your going to be transforming it alot. I just transform my figure every now and then so i dont have to worry about paint rubbing off too much. Most of the time you could just pain the thing as is and it really wont rub off too much unless you keep messing with it. Give it a try man its good if you have a little free time or just bored.
