I was taking some pics of some customer projects and decided might as well post these guys while I'm at it.These are some more projects I have going right now.

Before I get into this I want to give mad Shout-outs to msytger87 and Nemesis Predaking for sharing their awsome Blitzwings and getting me motivated to try one myself.I also want to say thanks to chlokai for his amazing Sandstorm.

    Blitzwing:
I used a Classics Starscream and TFTM Brawl.I wasn't going for an exact G1 version.I pretty much just stuck to mstyger87s' version but used some of NPs' ideas as well.Like NP,this is for me so I had no problem partsforming the turrent.I never really liked leaving it on as a kid.The turrent is removable for jet mode and so is the nose cone.I made a oil drum that actually holds the nosecone inside during tank mode.I also wanted to beef him up a bit so I used Brawls' turrent as well.

    Sandstrom:
I used a Universe Acidstorm,G1 Sandstorm and Classics Hot Rod.Again I wasn't going for an exact G1.I tore Acidstorm apart and incorporated as much of the G1 Sandstorm as could.I was going to go with the G1 top but I happened to have the top from a Classic Hot Rod that I had laying around and gave it a try. When I finished fitting it,I liked what I was seeing so I kept it.I'm not sure if I'm keeping the yet!!!!

I still have a lot of work left on these guys so please keep that in mind as you check them out.So go ahead and have a looksy!!!!!!!

Hope you like what you see so far

These look REALLY great so far man! All of Blitzwing's modes turned out incredible but it looks like Sandstorm could use some putty to fill in some of those gaps. Other than the gaps I really like him. The car mode looks pretty slick and I think you should keep the Rodimus windshield and stuff too.

    Thanks!!!!!

As for the gaps,I'm planning on using putty and styrene to fill those in.I just haven't gotten that far yet but I'm working on it:thumbs2:

I'm glad you like the windshield.I was going for a more streamlines look and I think this works very well!!!!!

I'll get these guys done asap!!!!!

    Thanks for the props buddy!!!!!!
Of course if I got basher of the year I would definitely share it with mstyger87,NP and chlokai for their inspiration on these!!!!!!!

Whoa! They look bloody awesome! :D  All 3 modes of your Blitzwing are excellent (you've done a great job minimising the kibble in botmode) & it's definitely a stroke of genius using G1 Sandstorm parts - They're a perfect fit! Looking forward to seeing these guys come to fruition. :)

Thanks Wheel_Jack!!!!!!! I've got a couple of more wips that I just started inspired by you.Windcharger and Mirage. As soon as they're pic worthy I'll post something!!!!!!!

Dude thanks. That means a lot coming from you!!!!!!!! I was a little worried that you might think I stole your idea.I've seen it on here before. That's why I always make sure to give props to the people who have inspired my projects.I'm glad you like what you see so far and I hope that in the end that my Blitzwing comes out just as awsome as yours!!!!!

Can't wait to see your Sandstorm:drool:

Thanks a lot ORIO!!!!!! Your comments always make me laugh!!!!!

Glad you like them!!!!!! Blitzwing came together pretty easy.Sandstorm was a little harder.I still have a long way to go on him!!!!!

one point to note, not sure if its just that i had problems but i couldnt find a glue that would hold the hinges in place very well, used all sorts of glues, from 2 part to super, so ive now gone and built plastic hinges, hope u dont have those troubles tho man, just a question, is the top part of your sandstorm just the g1 toy wth the arms of acidstorm??

    Thanks a lot.I'm glad you like them!!!!!!1
Thanks for the props!!!!! It took me a while but I'm glad it came out the way it did.Still more to go though.

I had the same problem at first.I was using super glue and it wouldn't stay on.So what I did was let the glue get tacky and then attach the hinges and I haven't had a problem since.I also use mighty putty on the seems of the hinges to help anchor them.I haven't done that part yet but it really helps and makes it a stronger weld.

I'll send you some more detailed pics of Sandstorm!!!!!!!

    Thanks!!!!! Soon I hope......very soon

Those are two of the more difficult characters to do, but they are both looking really good so far. i am impressed with Blitzwing especially. Good luck.
