Metalhawk + Pretender

First of all, BIG props and credit goes to GMfan101 for his awesome Metalhawk rendition. That inspired me to do mine. Made from Cyclonus main body, Cybertron TC head and parts from gundams. Still WIP and painting will ensue soon....

Looks pretty cool.

 

It's really hard to get a convincing alt mode with Metalhawk using the Cyclonus mold. However, the bot mode is godly.

One suggestion: I would get rid of the Sunstreaker engine if possible. It adds a lot of unnecessary bulk and makes the jet mode look awkward.

 

Thanks for the tip. But I have already planned to have those parts there. Hopefully it will not stand out like a sore thumb after painting.

 

Looks sweet. I have to agree with Satomi about the Sideswipe/Sunstreaker engine, but its your take and you do what feels cool to you.

@Locustreign - I just use the normal Mr Color Gold No.8 with a flat brush.
