W.I.P. Making good on a statement "UltraBadness" ok im not going to take you through all the updates and what not the next time i post it will be completely done. i have painting this figure down to a science.1 week.... most of that is curing. this is my favorite toy ever..well untill they make a megatron that dont suck, not talking about the MP..it rocks. as close as possible!
I think a head swap (or a custom head would probably be cheaper) with a Buster Prime would make this custom look a lot better. As much as I love Ultra Magnus, I'm certainly aware of the repaints, of course. Oddly enough, I'm not seeing Magnus much in that Prime head almost to the point where it looks like a redeco Prime (like Nightwatch Prime or something). I really think that's the only detail that's holding this custom back from "super awesome". Some weathering would help take away the pastel feel from it a bit as well. Other than that, I think you're really on to something exceptionally special here! I hope my comments are helpful
i feel you on the buster prime tip,,i just couldnt find one in stores or online, and this is just a test run anyway for the buster prime and that new voyager! i have extreme bad luck with primes, playing it save for now!
ultra magnus and prime has alway been the same toy in every line.... identical. if they made a ultra magnus for this line it would be the same as a rotf white prime, and every body and there mother would run out and get it and be happy with it... there very own all white identical prime named ultra magnus..no thing..right so thats what i did..that was my logic.
