This is my first COMPLETED Radicons project. It is made from Rotf Onslaught, Vortex, Brawl, Energon Strongarm and Energon Blackout. With a healthy shot of beef from Yourreflections upgrade kit (kidbash.com) I finished him today using YR's tutorials for installing the heads (I learned how to pop pins!) and his wrist joint tutorial. I'm pretty happy with it. There is some paint apps coming off on his head and forearms which I don't understand. I sprayed the final pieces with a matte coat and I thought that would prevent that from happening. Minor touchups I'll take care of later. Right now I just want to share. I had a blast with this kit and learned a TON about customizing And I forgot to add, I used Modelmasters Gunship Gray, Modelmasters Lusterless lacquer overcoat, and Testors black enamel paint for this. And a badass light tent donated by Yourreflection Edit: Thats a lot of smileys.

That turned out really great! Its a big improvement over the regular version. Awesome job dude. As for the paint apps coming off, it sounds like the paint won't stick to the surface properly. Did you apply a primer or anything before the main base color?

Dude that light tent is badass. The only drawback is it pops up like a kitty cube. Which apparently means its an open invitation to my kitten. Thank you

Thanks man! If you have Onslaught in torso mode, spin him around, and he attaches to the peg on his arm
I gotta be honest Orio. I didn't even read the thread title at first because I was so focused on the thumbnail pic. The thumbnail really captivated my attention cause I couldn't exactly tell at first what it was but it just looked really cool. I open up the thread and I was like "WHAT!!! THAT'S FREAKING INSANE!!"...then I see the mint Orio cookie and started laughing my ass of man! For your very first bash you killed it. This is Complete Badassness man. I'm so proud of you dude. It's obvious you learned a lot working with this kit because it shows. Take more photos man! I want to see his feet and more full body shots. I'm almost done painting LTS's version but this got me inspired to start one for myself! Paint issue: Did you wash the resin parts with warm soapy water before you primed the parts Orio? I've found that washing the parts then letting them dry for a few days before adding the primer has worked pretty well for me. Also, sometimes resin parts come out very smooth so a bit of wet sanding will do wonders as well. Overall man, this is good good work.

Washed em and wet sanded em. Maybe the Krylong Fusion for plastics doesn't bond well with resin? Man I don't know whats going on there. My pics were so big I couldn't fit them in one post. YR just emailed more of the adjusted one. gimme one sec.
