His was damn near perfect, so I wanted to try and make my version more "gritty" and with a different head. I like the thought of the modified Jetfire head for the earth mode Fallen as it has some of the same attributes as the original Fallen's head.

What did you use for that orange, I always wonder what makes that neon-ish effect..If you don't mind sharing... |

You answered your own question regarding the orange. It is a neon orange base that I gradually lighten as it is applied. This is the style Frenzy_Rumble perfected on his customs. |

The head you used is quite a brilliant touch as well; not only does it look like a movie-fied Fallen, but it even looks like he has the 'headdress' of the actual RotF Fallen. The flames work quite well too. Could maybe use some more yellow to make them pop, but that could go quite wrong as well, so this works too. And the ammo belt is quite a neat little touch as well.
Have you considered going further with the RotF influence, and making his barrel removeable and able to turn into some kind of staff? Maybe even pop a blade onto it to complete the look? If you take Energon Cruellock's sword, sharpened it a bit to get rid of the dull edges and then pop it on, you could get a wicked looking halberd that could fit this custom perfectly. |
