Heavy/Scratch: Insecticon Kickback

    I was looking at picking up another set of TRU's to do this too. For 35$ or w/e they are, its still basically cheaper than junkers. At least with the TRU i know the chrome is still in good shape. All in all i called it about even. But I will probably just use my TRU's to do this, because these are better in all ways

    Awesome stuff! Someday I'm gonna have to either employ one of you Insecticon customizers to make me a set or figure it out myself. Where did you acquire the Gundam parts needed? HLJ.com or somewhere similar?

    IceWilly - I'd like replace the chrome on mine as well. Does TRU still sell the insecticon set?

    Triformis...bought the Gundam set at this place called "Sun Entertainment" in Chinatown here is San Francisco. Pretty cool little place. If you buy one set you can get another set for 50% off.

    1/144 scales can range from 12-25 bucks. 1/100 15-50 bucks. all depends on what works for you. my set cost me 16 bucks.

    Yes, there are a few sets around in the stores near me. Ebay prices aren't too crazy yet either
