Here is a short dorky backstory I came up with.......

"When Megatron discovered he was lied to by The Fallen, he began to question his purpose, and desires. Having let The Fallen be destroyed by Optimus Prime, Megatron gained a bit of revenge, but began to wonder what his future held. He was severely injured...... damaged beyond standard repair so much so that he needed the aid of his second in command, Starscream, to get him back to the Nemesis. This was almost Megatron’s fatal flaw. Upon arriving at the Nemesis, Starscream ambushed him with the aid of Soundwave, Skywarp, and Thundercracker. Megatron fought with all he had left, but ultimately failed. Starscream and his fellow Decepticons watched as Megatron's body was torn into several pieces and discarded into the vast, emptiness of space. The one mistake Starscream made was not watching Megatron’s spark fade……. It did not.

As his body drifted through space it was intercepted by a group of Autobot protoforms heading to earth. Once on earth, Megatron’s head was reinitiated. The surviving Autobots began to fill his head with all the wrong he had done, and it was not until he heard the story of Jetfire did he begin to listen. It was then that his allegiance waivered but it did not ultimately change until he got a piece of information from the leader of the Autobots; Optimus Prime. Megatron found out he was in fact the brother of Optimus Prime…… giving him something he always wanted, Primeship. Megatron was in fact a Prime. Upon learning this, the Autobots rallied to rebuild Megatron knowing that they now had the ally they needed to once and for all destroy the Decepticons. Megatron chose the body that he most admired and respected….. that of his brother. Megatronimus Prime was born!”

Awesome idea, and well executed! Now with the same body as Prime, they really do look like bros  

 

The alt mode is excellent. Who knew the silver palette can work so well on a truck?

My only gripe is the head though   Not that it's not well-done, but it's abit too techno-organic compared to the style of the body.
IF it were possible, the 'helmet' portion of the head can be resculpted to look more angular and 'autobotish'?

Besides that, the paint job is FLAWLESS. I love it.

Oh it'll be fun if he has his fusion cannon...Tee hee hee I wonder how that will turn out...
