FINALLY a Blitzy custom that looks great in all 3 modes.

This could be the one I've been waiting for!

    Awesome job!

Amazing. I think this is shaping up to be the best triple changing Classic Blitzwing we've seen so far! :thumbs2:

The tank mode is impressively convincing... though I can't help wondering if there's room for some fold-over panels in jet mode to cover/smooth some of the tread detail that's showing.

No, it makes sense. I'd taken the figure apart before and figured it might have been that easy. Guess not. Ah well.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the progress done here.

hehe...never drink and post...although it is not like I am one to talk (glug glug glug)

Said it before over at the Sector...Wonderful work here, I really enjoy how you decided to turn the bot mode around and represent a wonderful homage to the original toy. I may as have to hit you up on the Arm mods as well, I really like this direction. Already picked up a Movie Brawl for those treads...that leaves me w/ and extra Energon Bruticus tank for a future endeavor.

    Wonderful work here!!!

    Top-notch work.

One point - I know the exposed head and fin-feet are G1 Blitzwing toy refs, but it couldn't hurt to maybe cover up the head a little and use the Classics Seeker feet. It'd make the tank and bot modes look even better than the original.

i was thinking of covering the head with some panels but ill run into some problems with the panelling being in the way when in bot mod, and feet, well ive already kinda finished working them to suit the treads so im not modding them or all the work that has been done on the treads wont actually work properly but yeah good ideas, thing is if i want to i can either have the classics seeker feet in bot mode or keep him looking g1 ill show it in my finished pics, and theres no loss of articulation in the knees either, ive just finished puttying up all the rough edges and will be sanding them down soom. then bring on some paint.

Hmmm... you'd need something which would work in all three modes without getting in the way. If you can spin the head 180 degrees to face backward, then in tank mode it might be possible to just have a small squarish panel running from the white styrene panel covering the cockpit to down over the robot face, hinged at the top. In robot mode, it would swing upwards to rest behind that same panel, and in jet mode, it would be in much the same position, but joining the underside of the nosecone to the bottom of the fuselage. Any necessary side panels to cover up the gaps could stay attached to the shoulder-intakes.
