First of all let me give credit to Payton for doing this first and inspiring me. Also wan de real for doing the best version of it with the lights and pizzaz. Sadly mine is not anywhere near as good but i am really happy with how the shoulder and leg articulation came out as it was my first proper mod since getting my dremel for xmas. I went for the more cartoon colour scheme, although after seeing wan de reals i think i may buy another and go for the figure scheme, great inspiration for it. Id recommend anyone give this a try as its an easy mod and an easy figure to then make a masterpiece sized bot Any ideas you have to help my mods long trerm please let me know Thanks
Just realised the pic of inside his tape deck is not great Oh and also waiting for pens to do panel lining then will panel line the details on the fore arms I would also say i think there is a way to make articulation of legs easier and better from looking at how i htink da real has done his but will wait to see his tutorial
I want to do ravage, frenzy and rumble but not sure what figures to use as base figures yet so they will go on the list of ideas to look for
hey not bad at all Deadfett....its awesome for the first try...you can try it to improve the paint by do the airbrust to be more thin...yes Gundam Pen will help a lot with the touch-up inside the deck...yes the articulations is still can be improve..actually it just simple.. just post hand tutorials if you like to watch..about the articulations tutorial will do that in the near future after i clear some commsions works...
Thanks for the encouragement, what do you mean by airburst? I'm guessing airbrushing? Igot an airbrush kit at christmas and gonna try this out at weekend on a junker first, not sure what to expect lol. Thanks again
looks great man. cartoon accurate for the win! i still have my oversized soundwave packaged up. hopefully i'll get to him soon. awesome custom bro
Thankyou all for your encouragement, gives me the drive to improve and try new techniques. Gonna try airbrushing this weekend
if i was u i'd take the g1 or a ko cassete holder and glue it inside of this one....now u can fit all the g1 cassetes...simple and effective in my opinion
I like the idea but 2 problems dont have spare g1 soundwave and the only g1 cassettes i have are ravage, buzzsaw and laserbeak and ths oversized ko comes with laserbeak and ravage cassettes with my plan to do a custom ravage and stick the cassette ravage in the deck
