I have a lot of lego Bionicle parts that I have collected over the years and I didn't know how good they go with TF'S. Here are a few pics that I took of my Optimus holding a pair of battle axes. I am eventually going to detail them in orange to resemble the ones that optimus had in the original cartoons. Let me know what you think.
I'm sure they have. I however, would never modify any Lego parts, nor combine them with non-Lego things. I idiotically hold Lego as sacred. Anyway, a few tips for you: 1. Try to fill the gaps in the blade edge with some kind of sculpting putty. 2. Be sure to prime the plastic first, or give it a coat of white first. It'll make the orange paint really stand out. 3. Eat your vegetables. 4. Have you bought any of the Bionicle Stars? Takanuva is a lie! The internet consistently shows his mask to be white; but I bought him, and his mask is friggin silver!
I've never seen it before. and this is one of the best ideas from ol' Prime that I've ever seen, hands down. I'd love to use this idea for my own Prime bash I'm working on, just because its so ingenious, and already looks perfect for the ROTF vibe, even without any modding. I would run some cords from on part of the axe to the other, and definitely throw some orange and weathered silver in there, similar to the color scheme of the weathered Energy Blades Customs we've seen. Very cool idea, man. Very OG.
No shit, Sherlock. I assume if someone had thought of it they would put it one the boards. Other wise, he was just asking a rhetorical question that didn't really need an answer. Either way, it was just my opinion. No need for you to point it out in bold, Understood?
Well you assume too much, and you're a hypocrite - you pointed out a piece of my statement in bold first.
i heard this movie sucks! but i digress. these definitely work. but "Heavy/scratch" is not really the category that comes to mind.
hey, it was the first thing that came to mind. Repaint sure didn't work cause I haven't even painted it yet.
Good point. Yeah, it's more of a Minor Repaint. Still, one of the best and one of the most original ROTF Prime add-ons I've seen in a bit. Keep them coing, bro.
