I was asked who the next Classic would be to get updated and I chose Onslaught. Mostly minor stuff and I painted the fists and face all black to match the G1 version. If I can match the paint I'm thinking about changing the color of his arm gun to match his G1 version. Again, hope you like. =)

I think the G1 gun color would look good on him, if you have a g1 gun, just take it to the hobby store and match it there as best as you can. Thats what i have done in the past and it works most of the time. If anything, buy 2 or 3 different colors just to be on the safe side, plus you never know when the other colors might come in handy.

 

Unfortunately I never got G1 Onslaught. Everyone knew I needed him to construct Bruticus, yes Santa gave him to my cousin instead...this is why I hate Santa now.

i really love this onslaught.. i have one too and i wanna do something with it but never kno wat to do.. lol maybe i'll do some small things also.

I think my next mods are going to be Powerglide and Hound. And I have a hopefully great idea for a Marvel/Transformers custom that will be more than just a repaint as soon as I can find the parts I need. =)

 

I can't believe how much better he looks with the black head and fists! So simple and it works so well!

 

Thanks! I was really worried about the black face, but I've found if I use a washable marker to test things first I get a much better idea of how the finished product will look.
