Been dinking around with this project for a little while.. Used 6 TFTM Overcast jets for the Angels and TFA Lugnut for Fat Albert. Painting the 6 jets drove me crazy. I'll be glad when im done with this project. Just need to print out the decals for the jets and Albert.

    no chrome here :p

Very nice work. That Blue Angels repaint of Dreadwing is like the Autobot Jet drone from the first Transformers game.

Sweet! Fat Albert is a nice addition. Would ROTF Stratosphere have worked better though? Just an idea.

I'm glad to see someone finally include the lesser known member of the Blue Angels, Fat Albert, he may be slower but he's just as good damnit! :p

Cool! I used to go watch the angels every summer at the airshow when I was younger. +10 for bringing up good memories!

I had no idea you were making these, haha. I just know about that one you used a Seeker mold (?) for.

Good stuff. Was this another commission or just something to take a break from the commissions? And a break from the chrome. LOL

lol, i think a red sweater on lugnut would look pretty cool... HEY, HEY, HEY!

dreadwing/overcast... same mold i think. i had a bunch of overcast figs that i picked up on clearance from BBTS a while back.

Thanks! stratosphere would have probably worked too.. i just had an extra lugnut laying around.

thanks guys! the blue angels come to my city every summer for seafair and they land at boeing field which isnt too far from me. they fly over my house during their shows and come down low enough to see the details on the pilots helmet. freakin awesome!

yeah, this was an in between project that i had going for a bit. it was a nice distraction from all the chrome.. easier on the eyes while painting too :)

Considering that the Thunderbirds are a shitty local Hockey team makes this all the funnier.

I do love that show and it's movies though.
