Some of you may know, but I am also a bit of a dinosaur nut. I do a lot of custom paleo-sculpture (a new resin kit is in the works!) and I love painting them up.
This guy is a modified Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus vinyl kit. I shortened the neck, and removed the frill to be more accurate. I also added a little bit of sculpting to the neck, arms and feet to make him look slightly bulkier. He is hand painted with acrylics and inks. Will be auctioning him off starting Saturday.
    Hope you like him!

That looks fantastic. I've always liked this kit, and you've given it a really interesting paint job.

Do you have any other dinosaur work we can see?

You know it was dinosaurs that got me into monsters, so this looks great.

As you already knew, I'm a pretty big fan of your dinosaur figures. This one is every bit as good as your others, bro.

    Awesome work on that guy!
Makes him truly look more like the real dilophosaurus, and not that skinny little dino from Jurassic Park! (even though I still like that one)

This statement and this thread really proves the major thrust of the "Featured Radicon of the Month" - to continually educate the community on the richness of talent(s) of our Radicons! I had no idea that you did this sort of thing with as much intensity as you do your TF customs until the article. I love it when I'm surprised in positive ways with the wealth and depth of the Radicons' capacities. Thanks for sharing!

That is awesome. It looks so realistic you could photoshop it into a scene from Jurassic park and you can't tell it from the animatronic/CG dinos! :)

BTW, did they spit venom in real life? :D

Not sure, the only Dilophosaurus I ever met was very cordial, and would never think of spitting in mixed company. He even drank his tea with his pinky up!

Glad you like him guys! I should be posting more dinos in the near future.

I updated first post to show the base/dio that i made for this guy. It is a re-purposed base from the Tamiya Triceratops kit. I dressed it up with a little fine sand, fake bushes, and did an epoxy over clear plexi pond. The pond actually has little model fish in it, and a big amphibian laying on the bottom. Let me know what you think!

That base looks fantastic with it! I love how you epoxy'd the pond. Beautiful job, once again.
