this is a project I've been working on for a while now, on and off. and no, his head doesnt transform
No.. Transforming... heaaaaad!?! I feel nerd rage coming on!!! ... But seriously, nice job. Specially on the claws
awesome work! scorponok is one of the only 2 surviving g1 transformers ive held on to for the past 20 years and this one is amazing. i love the new head, i always thought it was kind of weak how they gave such a huge robot such a tiny head. again man, great job on him.
This is looking hella good, dude. I can't wait to see it finished! I'd like to know more about the work that went into the head and about the head itself. I understand it's a recast, but from which head originally?
I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess that you based his head on the TF: Headmasters (Japan) version. If you do another head based on the visored Marvel version, let us know. (The visor was an excellent way to make his "windshield" useful, and solidify what look like -- close-up -- 2 possible placements of the eyes on the Zarak half of the head.)
Thyvipera, I have to say I really like this. What I've always enjoyed about all of your bashes was the fact that it's a constant progression of skill level. Your paint apps get better and better dude along with creativity. I've never even thought about using that head for Scorponok. Grayfox, it's a recast from one of the Roadbots. I believe it was the big black Mitsubishi Lancer.
Sweet. Nice work thy. Ditto on YR's comments. And that's saying something, since your stuff is just slammin every single time. It must be hard to improve on something superb already!
Thy if you can't tell by my screenname I'm a HUGE G1 Scorp fan. I would give my left nut for this. If there is anything I have in my collection that you would be interested in trading for please let me know.
yep, sadly no, lol. thanks man thanks a lot man, i'm pleased you like him thanks a lot guys. i should have him completed today, and hopefully final pics taken thanks Stu. yea, that head is awesome, and BIG. i had to trim the hell out of it thanks anty! glad u like him. hopefully he'll be finished real soon thanks buddy!
